Lathams, in association with Arup and Donaldsons were appointed by the Housing Market Renewal team to prepare a Baseline Study and Masterplan for Maltby and neighbouring environs. The aim of the Baseline Study is to provide a comprehensive review of all social, physical, economic and environmental factors, which impact upon Maltby and the surrounding settlements identified within the study area boundary.

The analysis of baseline data highlights the key issues, challenges and opportunities facing the people and places within the study area. Crucially, it provides the basis for subsequent masterplan proposals, which will bring about transformational change for Maltby town centre, local neighbourhoods and the wider housing market.
