In 2002 the Government launched a new initiative to tackle areas of low demand housing across the country. 'Housing Market Renewal Pathfinders' were formed in nine areas in England, to fundamentally change the housing market and attract people back into areas that have become unpopular. Rotherham is one of the key Pathfinder areas and is split into five area development frameworks (ADF's), Rotherham East, Rotherham West, Rawmarsh and Parkgate, Wath and Swinton and the Town Centre. It's an exciting time, use this website to track the changing face of Rotherham and share the vision for the future.
