Welcome to the Rotherham Adult Social Services service directory page. We aim to offer people aged 18 years and over and those caring for them a high quality, responsive service that helps promote and support independence in the community.
We will work with people to identify difficulties they may be experiencing and then identify services to help where possible. This is done by carrying out an assessment of need and then prioritising how quickly services can be provided according to the urgency of the solution.
To deliver the services effectively we have a strong working partnership with other Council programme areas, health services (Rotherham PCT and Hospital Acute Trust) and the voluntary and community sectors.
The service directory has been set up to improve the provision of
information for adults, carers and their families in Rotherham and
is designed so that information is easily accessible. The
service directory contains information and contact details on Day
Care, Direct Services, Intermediate Care, Physical Disability and
Sensory Impairment, Race and Language, Residential Care, Social
Care, Support and Advice Services and Well Being Services.
